Superbly thought-out establishment right in the centre of the resort. Its main features include a huge inviting main pool with sunbeds everywhere and palm trees adding to the tropical feel of the grounds, as well as a fantastic children's outdoor play area and a well-above-average children's pool, both nicely positioned out of earshot of the main pool and main building! The stylish interior facilities include two separate dining options and lots of lounge seating. A sports court is also available for active guests. It is well geared towards families with safe and impressive facilities for the children. Adults will enjoy the pool and the proximity of the beach and the amenities of the resort all around the property.

Interior

The central interior has a high ceiling, with a spiral staircase and lots of decorative greenery. The sectioned marble bar and lounge feature unusual round hanging lampshades. There is a wood-beamed first-floor buffet restaurant and a mezzanine floor overlooking the lobby with a glass elevator and an indoor children's play area.

Grounds

The vast lagoon-style pool surrounded by the buildings has tall palm trees all around the edges. A raised rock wall terrace along one side of the pool provides extra sunbathing space. Thatched parasols with sunbeds are on three sides of the pool. A wooden bridge spans the pool and provides yet more room for sunbeds. A covered entertainment area has wicker seating in one corner. A further facilities area with a sports court, children's pool and play centre are at the end of the grounds and an additional restaurant has a canopy-covered terrace and ornate metal furniture.

Location

Area Type: In the heart of the resort with a few other large hotels and many shops, bars and eateries on the same and adjacent streets. Just below the main resort through road. A bus to the large capital town of Mahon stops 100 yards away. A resort mini-train also leaves from near the hotel.
